Youth Grief Support - Hastings Community Hub
Join us for a free monthly gathering for young people (13–25) dealing with grief. It's a safe space to connect with others who get it and find support while you navigate your grief. As a special change-up this month, Bereaved Parents Together and our Youth Grief Support Group will come together to hear from Brad Jenkinson. Brad is the Director of Holistic Athlete Development, mentoring young people to overcome challenges and build belief in themselves. In 2015, Brad and his wife Katrina experienced the devastating loss of their firstborn, Hamish, at just six weeks old due to a rare genetic condition. Brad will share how the guiding question, “What would Hamish want me to do?”, continues to shape his journey through grief and life, offering insight, hope, and inspiration to those navigating the loss of a child.
